The team routinely complimented Lance on his questions and ability to get to the route of the problem with a customer. Engineers were very happy to see that we aren't building stuff based on hunches but rather verified user feedback. I've been on quite a few interviews with him over the last 2 months and can confidently say, he kicks ass.

Lance cares. Like, a LOT. He cares about context, building the right thing and building the thing right. He's not afraid to call out problems or issues that he sees because he knows it will pay dividends in the end. He's also not afraid to ask the questions that will get him closer to the outcome that he wants.

Had a great call with Lance yesterday regarding subfolders. I was really clamoring for subfolders until we talked it out a bit. He really shed some light on how we could use Tags better and that I shouldn’t give up on Tags. Really, for me anyway… I wasn’t thinking through the back-office workflow well enough. But now I am, and I’m going to give Tags a chance. Thanks, Lance!
